ChatBox is a cross-platform graphical chat client that supports custom OpenAI and Anthropic compatible providers, so it connects to Global AI directly. This page walks through the full setup. The desktop and mobile flows are the same.

Configuration

Open Settings

Open ChatBox and click Settings in the lower left.

Choose a model provider

Open Model Provider and choose Claude (or OpenAI if you want GPT). Fill in:
  • API Key: paste your sk- token
  • API Host: https://globalai.vip/v1
  • Path: leave blank (default)

Add the latest models manually

ChatBox’s built-in model list may not include the newest versions, so add them manually. Click New, paste the model ID from the Pricing page (for example claude-sonnet-5) into Model ID, check all capability options, keep other defaults, and save.

Start chatting

Close settings, return to the home page, click New chat, choose the model you just added in the lower right, and send a message. A normal reply confirms the integration.

Troubleshooting

The key was copied incompletely or with whitespace. Recopy from /keys and check.
The most common cause is a proxy or circumvention tool. Turn them off and retry.
The model ID is misspelled, or the model is not allowed in your token’s scope. Search for it on the Pricing page to confirm the spelling.
